"ACCREDITED DEGREES WITHOUT CLASSROOMS"

COLLEGE ADVANCEMENT PLAN

Congratulations for being seriously interested in one of the most exciting and fascinating journeys you could ever travel. One that could also be very profitable for you obtaining your degree in nursing to become an RN!

We've learned over the years the best way to inform you is by presenting the important questions then follow with the answers. We hope this site will answer your questions and provide you the way to begin your journey. Read all of this fully and if you still have any questions afterwards, simply send us an e-mail or call us on the phone for a friendly voice to help you.

THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING US TO HELP YOU

THE FOLLOWING IS THE INFORMATION YOU NEED

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF BECOMING AN RN?

PROTECTION! RECOGNITION! ADVANCEMENT! Protection against the uncertain future job market and provide you a more secure future. Recognition for the hard work you do, but don't always get. Recognition as the professional from your co-workers, supervisors, the public, and your family. Advancement to the higher income that will benefit you and your family, to open more opportunities for you, and the personal pride of accomplishment. To accomplish this you need a degree that is regionally accredited through a program that is already success proven with thousands of graduates.

REGIONALLY ACCREDITED? SUCCESS PROVEN? THOUSANDS OF GRADUATES?

Yes, the regionally accredited University of the State of New York (USNY), Regents College developed a very effective External Degree Program in 1970, which now has tens of thousands of graduates all by Home Study! It's not new and it's success proven! Plus, their Nursing Degree is NLN APPROVED and STATE BOARD RECOGNIZED! This means that YOU can earn your regionally accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) without having to attend any classes. Thus, the term "Accredited Degrees Without Classrooms" was begun. Since you must have a regionally accredited college nursing degree to qualify for the State Board of Nursing RN licensure exam use the best program for you!

HOW DOES ALL THIS WORK?

You study at home and simply pass a "proficiency exam" for the college credits in each of the subjects you may need. These exams are nationally "standardized" meaning they're impartial and fair! The prestigious College Level Examination Program (CLEP) and the American College Testing-Performance Examination Program-Regents College Examinations (ACT-PEP-RCE) are the two nationally recognized testing organizations that administer these exams at thousands of test sites nationwide. This enables you to pass each subject at the Regents College , you transfer the credits you've earned (through CLEP, ACT-PEP-RCE, or previous college) to Regents College, pass their Clinical Performance Nursing Exam (CPNE) and graduate with your Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). Both the AS(n) or AAS(n) are classified as an ADN. Here is where and how we specialize in helping you... by providing you, what we feel to be, the highest quality and most complete informational materials available anywhere to pass the CLEP and/or ACT-PEP-RCE exams AND by providing the personal help to direct you through the sometimes complicated process of earning your degree. With your regionally accredited ADN you are then qualified to apply for and take your state RN licensure exam.

WHAT SUBJECTS ARE NEEDED?

It depends entirely on your background. If you DO NOT have previous college credits, you would need 13 of the 14 listed subjects (exclude HG&D). If you DO have previous college credits, then most of what you have will probably transfer and count for you and you would need less than the subjects listed below. We'll advise you what you need to fulfill Regents College's required 66 semester hours credit with a grade point average of a "C" after we complete your Free Assessment (if you have previous college). The subjects, credits earned, and CLEP or ACT-PEP-RCE exam for each are:

The above subjects includes the Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Humanities, English, and Nursing Subjects required for an ADN from USNY.

WHAT ABOUT THE CLINICAL?
You'll be examined on proper nursing procedures, which you need to know anyway. This exam is not designed to fail you, it's designed to make sure you're a safe and competent nurse. You will be provided a comprehensive Manual with all the requirements several months before you take this exam. The Clinical Performance Nursing Exam (CPNE) is only a 2 day weekend exam at one of USNY's 17 approved hospitals, that you choose, of the following 14 cities in 7 states:
  1. Albany, NY
  2. Syracuse, NY
  3. Schenectady, NY
  4. Lawrenceville, GA
  5. Atlanta, GA
  6. Columbus, OH
  7. Madison, WI
  1. Racine, WI
  2. Milwaukee, WI
  3. Dallas, TX
  4. Long Beach, CA
  5. San Franscisco, Ca
  6. Phoenix, AZ
  7. Flushing, NY

HOW LONG DOES ALL THIS TAKE?

It depends entirely on you. Approximately 18 months if you do not have any previous college. If you do have previous college credits it could take much less time. It also depends on your circumstances, such as how busy you are and how much time you have to study (the CPNE will depend entirely on availability at the test sites of USNY, listed above). We're not going to rush you we're here to help you, not to add pressure! It's not how long you take, it's the end result that counts! Since your valuable time will pass anyway, why not use it to advance your career? When considering TIME ask yourself this, "What age would I be when I become an RN?...TThe exact same age if I didn't become an RN!"

HOW DOES THIS COMPANY HELP?

We provide you, what we believe to be, the finest, most complete, and least expensive informational materials (we call them our Condensed Subject Modules or CSMs) available anywhere for you to pass the standardized proficiency exams of CLEP and/or ACT-PEP-RCE and the highest quality guidance to simplify the whole process for you. We help you by the use of our success proven College Advancement Plan, which has three simple steps for your Guaranteed success:

Each CSM contains the Subject Text information along with the Key Points & Terms and a complete Workbook composed of Tables, Figures, Glossary, Practice Questions, Answer Codes, etc. You study our CSM Text and use our CSM Workbook to aid in your learning, then simply answer the Practice Questions. Once you complete this, as directed, you WILL be ready to PASS any exam CLEP or ACT-PEP-RCE has!
Step 2.
We virtually "take-you-by-the-hand" to help you through your journey of earning your ADN from Regents College with our simple "College Advancement Plan." We "individualize" your plan just for you and work with you on a person-to-person basis, which provides you complete support and directions until you have succeeded! WHY DO SO MANY NURSES PREFER "THIS" COMPANY?
Because we offer so many benefits AND our clients have over a 99% PASS RATE! We make the process of your earning your USNY, Regents College ADN as simple as possible for you. The following will give you some examples:

  • We're a "Written by Nurses" organization simply because we truly do care and it's also just good business. We've learned over the years that if you like what we do for you, then you'll tell 5 - 10 of your friends but if you don't...you'll tell 50! We're the fastest growing business of our type! Why?...read on!

  • Our College Advancement Plan is individualized just for your needs in a simple step-by-step process designed to meet your requirements. This turns what could be a very complicated task of earning your nursing degree into a very simple process for you. We fully advise you of what, when, where, and how to succeed.

  • A FREE ASSESSMENT (evaluation) of the subjects you need to earn your degree from USNY, Regents College.

  • Our Condensed Subject Modules (CSMs) are complete (you do not have to purchase any other materials). Also, in our opinion, no one textbook provides the information needed to properly learn any of the subjects. We've learned it takes at least 6 to 15 textbooks to properly cover the material in any of the subjects. Therefore, our CSMs are composed of information from 6 to 15 major textbooks per subject, re-worded, condensed. The extra filler material you will never use or be tested about has been eliminated. This process was similar to what Reader's Digest has done for years with long stories, thus, the name "Condensed." Plus, they were specially designed for adult learning the busy adult with a lot of other obligations to be met. We adults learn differently than we did at the age of 18 or 19. Our CSMs have been specially prepared for you and your special conditions of time restrictions. Your CSM will have all the informational materials (including the Workbook) enclosed into one easy-to-use binder. No "juggling" both a large Study Guide and a large Textbook!

  • Your CSMs also provide you the easiest to use, attractive, and most complete "Set of Reference Books" available today! Consider what it would cost to replace them from 6 to 15 major textbooks for each subject!

  • We are so confident you will be completely satisfied with us that we provide you the option to "cancel" your Agreement with us at anytime...without penalties! (such as not being required to pay for all the CSMs we agree to finance for you). We do require you pay for the CSMs you receive from us and since we normally send one at a time, you will not be charged for anything you haven't (or can't) use. Read our Agreement and you will know we are fair with you and us. Now you should know just how very good our CSMs and services have to be! Ask yourself this, "Who else will put in writing that you can cancel their contract anytime...without penalties?" If not, you should think very carefully before you commit yourself to an expensive BINDING CONTRACT.

  • Our easy 0% INTEREST Installment Plans with NO CREDIT CHECKS! You're automatically approved!

  • Our CSM prices include everything we do for you No "hidden costs" that end by costing you even more later on. You do not get caught in these "gimmicks" with us! That's right, no hidden "gotcha's" to worry about later!

  • Our low price makes it affordable for all. YOU select the Payment Plan YOU want.

  • Regents College program, exam fees, plus our CSMs is usually less than half the cost of most colleges, when you total their cost's of the many courses, time, travel, parking, food, activity fees, textbooks, enrollment, graduation fees, etc., etc. If you've attended college before, you already know how high these costs can be.

  • You have full use of our TOLL-FREE telephone number to receive a friendly voice to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to call when you need any assistance with any part of your plan.

  • A Written Money-Back Guarantee that you will pass each CLEP/ACT-PEP-RCE exam you use our CSMs for!

  • Our CSM's contain ALL the materials you need to pass each subject exam of CLEP or ACT-PEP-RCE. You will not need to purchase any other materials (textbooks, workbooks, periodicals, etc.) when you use our CSMs!

  • Our low price makes it affordable for all. Our prices are only $250.00 per subject CSM with as low as a $90.00 Down Payment and Interest-Free Monthly Installments of only $90.00 each. Details in next section.

  • Education can be TAX DEDUCTIBLE! Treasury Regulation 1.162-5 (verify with your accountant).

  • You can work and earn your degree at the same time without concerns about a classroom schedule or travel.

  • You can start NOW! No waiting for any "class schedule" to begin. Remember...YOU have the control!

DO YOU OFFER "SIMPLE" PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes, because you are accepted, are pre-approved, without a credit-check and have 0% Interest. We accept Checks, Money Orders, Credit Cards (M/C, VISA, Am. Exp., Discover/Novus & Diners Club) and even most Debit Cards.

Use your Credit Card for any portion of whichever payment method you select. If you don't want more monthly checks to have to fill-out each month, then you can even have us deduct your monthly installments from your Credit or Debit Card on the day you specify in your Agreement. Hassle free...and simple. Select what you prefer from the following:

Review the Agreement to understand how these three "Plans" work and decide which is best for you.

The Agreement is for those without previous college credits only. Others have assessments done first.

We've tried to make it simple for you by providing the easiest payment methods to use. Hope we've succeeded.

WHAT WILL THIS COMPANY WILL "NOT" DO?

WHO AND WHAT IS THIS COMPANY?

Similar to the other businesses in this field (of course, we think our policies and CSMs make us better!), we simplify a plan, publish and sell our CSMs. We fill a much needed "gap of simplified information in one location" with our CSMs for those of you that need to pass CLEP or ACT-PEP-RCE exams. We also provide a free, simplified directional plan with easy access, for our clients to get through the sometimes complicated process of Regents College. We combine both and title it "College Advancement Plan." Because it helps people so much...we've grown and become worldwide!

We are licensed as a legal corporation in the business community. We are not a school. We do not grant credits, degrees, licenses, or diplomas. We do not need an accreditation. Therefore, if you call your State Board of Nursing to verify an accreditation, ask about Regents College, USNY's accreditation (they are the school you graduate from). Also, you earn college credits through CLEP or ACT-PEP-RCE we provide the CSMs with a guarantee of your passing their exams. No college in the country will "guarantee" your passing any exams, especially with a "money-back" guarantee.

Being a good business means we must be extremely effective to compete for your business in our free market system. It means we need only prove ourselves to YOU... our client. It means we must stay honest and we must be constantly improving. It also means we must do what we say. Without these elements, you would not recommend us or even continue doing business with us! YOU decide our future. These are great benefits for you since they give YOU the final approval! Remember: With us, you can "cancel anytime...without penalties," therefore you truly do have that real "final approval" all the way through! Don't you wish every organization had toprove themselves to you this way?

IMPORTANT NOTES: Our Written Money-Back Guarantee is in the Agreement to insure it cannot be missed by any client of ours and also applies equally with the Order Form method of payment. Also, we use the term "nurse" herein to include all medical people for simplicity in our literature.

WHAT ABOUT THE "EXTRA INCOME" FOR YOUR CLIENTS?

Yes, our clients can earn extra income! Our "Earn While You Learn Plan" is very simple. For every person you recommend that becomes a client of ours with an Agreement under Plan "A" you will receive a check for $100.00!! (after they have paid their sixth monthly installment). You'll receive it immediately if they use either Plan "B" or "C"! This differs with referrals that purchase their CSM's with the "Order Form." We will mail you a check for $20.00 immediately for each CSM they purchase by Order Form. Do not try to "sell" anything, just simply show your CSMs and truthfully tell what you think of our materials and how we've been with you. That's all anyone really wants to know anyway. This continues even after you've finished with us and become an RN. You benefit others, benefit yourself, and benefit us It's a good plan when everyone benefits! For the FINANCING OF YOUR CLINICAL AND THE USNY ENROLLMENT FEE, you could utilize our Optional Financing Plan when you need the money for those expenses. OR, do as many of our clients do and use the above "Earn While You Learn Plan" to pay for everything. You should seriously consider it...it works!

DOES EARNING A USNY DEGREE HAVE "ANY" DRAWBACKS?

Yes, currently there are a few for some people in some states. These "drawbacks" are as follows:

    • North Dakota State Board requires a BSN Degree to sit for their State Board RN exam.
    • Illinois is the only State Board that does not recognize USNY, Regents College graduates. Call them about reciprocity.
    • Louisiana, Rhode Island, Washington, and Florida requires you be an LPN first, as a USNY graduate, to sit for their State Boards. Call them for details.
    • Alabama State Board presently evaluates USNY graduates on an "individual" basis. Call them first for details, also ask them about reciprocity.
    • Georgia State Board fully accepts all USNY graduates through reciprocity but will not allow you to sit for their State Board RN exam. Call them for details.

Reciprocity (mutual agreement), in this situation, means a state will accept your RN status if you transfer it from another state when you are a USNY graduate. Thus, some people (above) may actually have to go to a nearby state, pass that state's RN exam, and then transfer back into their state. No, it really does not make sense to us either. But if you do live in one of these states, call their State Board first. Veterans Administration (VA) Hospitals accept USNY, Regents College graduate RNs, in every state! They not only recognize USNY, Regents College, they even recommend it to their nurses! One RN license in any state is good in every state with the Veterans Administration (VA) Hospitals.

NOTE: USNY does NOT require college Algebra or Chemistry...so there's drawbacks and advantages everywhere.

ARE THERE ANY "OTHER COSTS" TO THIS?
Yes. You would not appreciate any "hidden costs" that suddenly appear later. USNY, Regents College is not free, nor are the CLEP or ACT-PEP-RCE exams you'll be passing in order to receive your required semester credit hours. The following will give you a better understanding of the current "other costs" you should know about:

    (1) USNY, Regents College Fees: (2) Standardized Exam Fees: (paid only when taking that exam) Enrollment Fee $ 595.00 CLEP fees are $40.00 for each subject exam. Clinical Performance Nursing Exam $1100.00 ACT-PEP-RCE fees are $75.00 each for HA&P and MB, $90.00 Graduation Fee $ 375.00 for each Nursing exam and $170.00 for the English exam. NOTE: You pay these fees "as needed." They are not paid to us, we do not have any control of them and are subject to change at the discretion of USNY, CLEP, or ACT.

KEEP IN MIND: We provide an Optional Financing Plan for the CPNE and USNY, Regents College Enrollment Fee when needed (if possible, it will also include travel costs for the CPNE and the Graduation Fee). Even though it will be later before you'll need this money, it's more comforting, less worrying, and just simply good to know that we're here for you when the time comes.

HOW DO I DECIDE IF THIS IS REALLY FOR ME?

Sometimes this can be the most difficult part of it all. We've learned a somewhat simple approach to this question that you may find interesting to use. Answer the following questions by checking the answer that applies to you:

    QUESTIONS

    NOYES
    1. Do I want all the advantages of being an RN?
    2. Will graduation provide a fully regionally accredited, NLN approved, nursing degree?
    3. Is the total cost less than my local college? If not, is it worth the difference?
    4. Do I want the freedom of Home Study, where I have the control?
    5. Do I want to avoid buying a lot of textbooks and having to search each for information?
    6. Do I want all my study materials right-at-my-finger-tips for easy usage?
    7. Do I want the study information condensed for simple, quick and complete learning?
    8. Do I want an easy to use plan to follow for completion?
    9. Do I want to avoid "Iron-Clad" or "Binding" Contracts?
    10. Do I want to be able to cancel my Agreement if I decide to, whatever the reason?
    11. Do I want a simple money-back guarantee that I will pass the subjects required?
    12. Do I want to avoid "hidden gotcha's" that sometimes suddenly appear later?
    13. Do I want with a company that has an outstandingly high reputation?
    14. Do I want with a company that has over a 99% pass rate?
    15. Do I want with a company that does not have any failing clients?
    16. Do I want with a company that has earned a world-wide clientele?
    18. Do I want with a company that will work with me financially if I need it?
    19. Do I want to be where I'll be treated as a person, instead of an account number?
    20. Do I have the determination to work and complete my goal of becoming an RN?

Your "yes" answers can easily determine if this is for you. Now please read the rest of this important information.

WHO IS QUALIFIED FOR THIS GREAT PROGRAM OF REGENTS COLLEGE?

No SAT Test, entrance exam, or previous college is required for admittance. USNY, Regents College does require that you first be an EMT, LPN/LVN, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Technician, Respiratory Care Practitioner, Military Corpsman, Midwife (call USNY first), or LPT/LMHT (CA, AR, KS, & CO only) to be qualified for enrollment in their Nursing Program (if you don't qualify don't e-mail or call us yet, read the rest of this information first).

If you DO NOT meet one of the above qualifications...read on! We have many clients just like you nationwide. It will take an extra effort from you, but there is a simple way for you to become fully qualified for USNY, while earning college credits and not losing your valuable time. YES, you can enter our College Advancement Plan NOW, be receiving your CSMs, and be earning your subject credits through CLEP and/or ACT-PEP-RCE exams while you are either completing your LPN/LVN school OR while you are applying for or earning your Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic License (certification). There are usually many facilities near you where you can earn your EMT Basic License on a part-time basis. Talk to EMTs in your area, call your local Fire Departments, Hospitals, and Colleges to learn the requirements and the best prices in your area (colleges are usually the most expensive and the most time consuming). Also check with any nearby small towns for Volunteer Fire Departments or Volunteer Rescue Squads, because some may pay for your EMT License for you! The Basic EMT license is the quickest and most economical one of the requirements of USNY, Regents College to meet and you can earn it while studying at home and earning your college subject credits at the same time. This means you have a simple way to qualify for USNY to earn your degree in the shortest amount of time...and with the least expense and aggravation to you.

This simply means YES! YOU TOO CAN EARN YOUR NURSING DEGREE TO BECOME AN RN!

HOW CAN I GET STARTED NOW?

    Use the
online forms to register this very minute or print them then fill them out by hand and mail or fax them to us.
    WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW?

Clients, while residing outside the U.S. (unless you have an APO, EPO, etc. address), are required to pay the UPS expenses FREIGHT COLLECT (including Customs Fees, etc.) of each CSM upon receiving it and we must have your full "physical" address in "that country" along with your local phone number "there" BEFORE SHIPMENT.

Residents of New York State pass their ACT exams through ACT-PEP-RCE (Regents College Examinations) at one of their 24 exam sites throughout New York instead of the regular ACT-PEP exam sites (exams and costs are the same though). CLEP exams are NOT affected and you'll still choose the CPNE location of your choice.

In our material we refer to ADN for Associate Degree in Nursing. This applies to both the Associate in Science and Associate in Applied Science degrees in nursing. The AS(n) and AAS(n) are generally referred to as ADN.
